Damn Stressed... Yet i haven't started studying...

So many things to do,
So little time,
So much to handle,
So little people...

Want to study,
yet unsure of the subjects,
Want to go,
yet don't want be seen as a bad student...

People encourage me to face my feelings,
but i am too shy to do so,
I myself want to express my feelings,
but i can't pick up the courage to do so....

Life is a like a story,
we have the power to shape it in anyway we want.
To improve ourselves,
to change ourselves,
is one of the hardest things to do,
but it is the only way to break barriers.
Create challenges for ourselves,
create obstacles to fight,
forge friendships to help you,
and command your team and lead them to Victory.

"The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible"
- Arthur C. Clarke

SRJC!!! Orientation time!!!

Hey everyone!!!

The past 2 days were the first 2 days of my orientation at SRJC!

I am in OG Cetus 4,
with Ignatius, my senior from SPS.
He was like the only guys i know first from my group.
Others were people from other schools,
and it was fun when we were forced to know each other's names.
Me and the guy beside me, Lucas,
did the memorizing of names together...
and were very successful at it...

We had lots of talks on the SR GCE Scholarships, CCAs, Attire, Values, Subject combination and had performances by their various niche CCAs.
Touring around their school, playing ice-breakers,
getting to know each other more, buying our new school uniform.
Did quite a lot of admin stuff in just 2 days...
Next week its games all the way, i think...
Should be fun!

Can't wait to start studying in SRJC,
as i really have to put in a 100% for this,
in order to cope with my NCC and my undecided CCA there.

HAHA :D
Hope everyone have a blast at all their orientation in their new JCs!!!

Kamikaze Night Cycling

Hey hey!
It's Night Cycling time!!!
Today!
We have the team of Wei Jie, Faris, Wei Kit, Matthew, Ryan and Myself.
Leaving Jun Ting and Mui Na behind...
(God knows what those 2 did there)
Then again,
it's not for us to care...
LOL

Anyway,
we cycled all the way to Suntec first,
through the ECP of course!
cycling beside the ongoing traffic...
Scary
but we are still alive...
haha

Next,
we went onward to VivoCity,
going through City Hall and Raffles Place,
and on to Keppel road,
and reached there at about 1 plus.
Stayed at Macs there to take a quick bite and surf Facebook

Later,
we went back,
and decided to visit the Marina Barrage.
First time i went there!
and it was definitely a place people must go!
Though it is still in a very remote spot in Singapore...
Haha

Finally,
it was back to our Chalet and rest.
Total duration of this trip was from 11pm to about 6 am!!!
a total 7 hours!!!
OMG!!
Cannot believe we left those 2 alone for 7 hours!!!
zzz...
gg...
Nvm them,
below are some pictures we took using Wei Kit's phone

That's all for now!!!

Kamikaze Birthday Chalet + BBQ

Woohoo!!!
It is finally Kamikaze's First Chalet!!!

First up!
I met my FSD Team in the morning at Parkway Macs to discuss on our routine,
i guess one thing they impressed me was the ideas that they had given me,
as they were totally awesome!
I am really happy with the plan they given me this year!!!
I seriously hope that they can train hard enough to make it to the Grand Finals this year!!!
All the best St. Pat's FSD Team 2010!!!

Next up!
I meant Wei Jie and Mui Na at Giant to buy our stuff for the BBQ,
at first we were almost done with our shopping list,
then we realised that we are too early!!!
So, we put back the stuff,
and went to Carl's Junior for Lunch,
before that,
i went to buy One Piece Manga Vol. 56!!!
Woohoo!!!
During that time,
Wei Kit (Daddy), rushed over...
So,
at least now we had an extra helper...
HAHA!
With his help,
it was not long later when we finished getting all the food we needed,
and off to the chalet we go!!!

At the chalet,
Faris was the first one to be there!
Followed by Hui Qing and her BF, Arthur...
Apparently,
i felt that it was expected that he will follow her,
since he lives so near ECP!
So, we decided to let him stay!
On our prep list,
first was the prawns and the satay,
followed by the sausage.
As the chicken we bought was already marinated,
and the otah can just put it over the fire,
and the marshmellows too!
By the time we were done!
Michael came!
And then!
Julie!!!
It was our first time seeing her since COC,
so there was plenty to catch up!
5pm was when we started the fire,
and Hui Qing was totally enjoying playing with the fire.
OMG!!!
But nevermind,
at least the food was okay,
except for some burnt ones,
especially the first 3 sausages cooked by Michael...
LOL...
It was only later when we began cooking the otah and Chicken,
which took longer...
One thing that was quite sad was that
because Mui Na added too much butter and oil to cook the Chicken,
the aluminium foil caught fire,
and so did the otah...
Next people came was Jun Ting and Matthew,
followed by Ryan, Zuraidi, Claudia and Hui Yang (Ah Gong)
And last were Jiahui and Jocelyn.
Thankfully,
all the food was finished!
Plus,
the cake cutting was a success!
and sadly,
the whipped cream attack on me and Ryan was a success as well...
Zuraidi and Hui Qing didn't kena anything first,
but Zuraidi did the honours on her,
and that made Hui Qing flare up!!!
Man, you should have seen how desparate she was at finding him,
whereby he resorted to climbing a tree!!!
After everything,
people left one by one,
until left the 8 staying over and Jiahui, Jocelyn and Michael.
And all of us started chatting about
Night Cycling, Haunted Place and Ghosts...
It was after they left when 6 of us left for our Night Cycle...
Leaving Mui Na and Jun Ting behind...
God knows what they did there!!!
Pictures of this FUN event would be out on a later date...
Depending on Hui Qing...
expect it to be quite late...
Knowing her...
LOL

Next post would be about the Night Cycling!!!
That's all!!!

Getting into High Gear!

The past 2 days were totally awesome!!!
Practically NCC the whole time!!!
However it has made me very tired...
Thus,
today is my breaktime from NCC...
On Tuesday,
i had trainfire for my Part Cs juniors from Air District.
Not from my sch though,
but it was fun to get to know cadets from other schools.
Changkat Changi (girls), Swiss Cottage Sec, SJI and Northview Sec.
It was the first time for me and my platoon mates.
But i am sure that it was a great experience as well!!!
Cannot wait for the one next week!!!

Yesterday,
it was back in school for my 1st official duty as a C/OFFR!!!
CCA Recruitment Drive in the morning,
and 1st Training in the Afternoon.
Somehow,
yesterday's training made be very tired...
I have no idea why at all...
But it's a fact, that i was very demoralized yesterday.
Maybe its because of the current batch of Part Ds,
who has caused a lot of trouble for the Teachers,
or maybe its just myself,
who has been to engrossed in NCC,
and needs to take a break...

That's why,
i am will be at home for the next 2 days,
resting.
In hope that my drive will return soon enough!!!

As our 58th COC Motto says:
"When all else fails, we don't!!!"

The Path of JC

After much thought,

I have decided to take the JC path...

At first, i wanted to go to Jurong Junior College in Boon Lay.

There,

I would be near to some of my friends from the West,

as their schools are not really far from me.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, River Vally High School and Pioneer Junior College.

Many of my friends are going there.

However,

I forgotten that there is an unbreakable bond that binds us together,

and that is NCC!!!

My second choice was Serangoon Junior College.

There, I can easily travel to HQ and St. Patrick's.

Therefore, It's a better place for me.

For NCC, as well as my studies.

However,

this time, i must not repeat the same mistake as i did in Sec 3 and 4.

I have to work hard!

And excel in my JC studies.

H2 Economics, Maths, Geography and H1 Biology/History.

That's what i will be taking!

Onward!!!

Serangoon JC, Here i come!!!

Where will my future lead?

JC or Poly???

I seriously have no idea!!!

Where to go?

Decides what i will be doing the next 2-3 years...

To walk to the path of becoming a teacher,

depends of what course i take,

what subject combinations i take,

what skills i learn on the way.

This is the next phase of my life,

when i finally decide what i will or want to do in future.

Today,

i will be going to school to discuss this matter with my teachers,

which path i will take depends on today's discussion.

A path of Knowledge or a path of Skills and Discipline?

It will be decided today.

Saikou moment! O' Level Results

Today, i received my O' Level Results...
Apparently, from what Mr. Lak has told us,
we actually did quite better than last years,
in terms of passes,
but quality wise was worse...
As for me,
here's my results:
English - C6 (WTF!!!)
E.Maths - A2 (pity not an A1...)
A.Maths - A2 (finally got an A...)
Biology - B3 (y not an A2!!!)
Physics - B3 (WTF!!! How the hell did i get that!!!)
Chemistry - C6 (okay... i dun care...)
Chinese - B4 (At least i went up by one grade... even with a Pass for Oral...)
L1R4 - 15
L1R5 - 18
Bonus points - 2
So this is it...
My comments are there already...
went around asking my 58th friends for their results, many did better than me...
There are some who needed my help...
So i will find ways to help them later...
Hope everyone got what they wanted!!!

The dawn of that Fateful day...

Today,

9 January 2010,

is 2 days before the release of the O' Level Results...

I really don't know whether or not i have done well for this examinations or not,

but whenever i think or the worse,

i couldn't help regreting how i have been studying throughout the past 2 years...

However,

i have never once regret doing so,

as my actions has helped me find yet another goal in life,

and that is NCC!!!

NCC has given me so much wonderful experiences,

which i will never regret.

It has taught me so much,

with regards to actual work and training,

so many different experiences has really enriched my life.

I am only 16, going to be 17 soon,

and yet i have learnt a lot from all my seniors, mentors, teachers, old-timers, etc.

As i await my results,

i have to calm myself down,

and really reflect and think of the future.

Be it bright or dark,

i have to move on!!!

For as i heard:

"With strength as a goal, I will become even stronger... always as much as necessary." - Tendou Souji

Busy busy busy...

OMG!

NCC Affirmation Ceremony is driving me nuts!!!

Guess really have no choice since we are 3 months behind schedule...

Not our fault though,

no manpower was there when they called for people last October.

So, the last line of defence was to get people from the 58th COC lor!

Meetings to attend one after another,

very busy...

Can't imagine that if i enter a JC,

i will be even more BUSY!

Will i be able to cope with NCC and JC life,

that is a question i cannot answer now...

But i have to face it sooner or later...

So i definitely cannot give up now!!!

All the way! Potest Qui Vult!

Once upon a time...

Today was supposed to be the first day of school for Seconday and Primary School students...
After going through 10 years of such life,
it's no wonder that i am bored now... Really need something to do!!!
Guess there is nothing much to do except to emo at home...
LOL...
Thankfully i will be going out for the next 4 days.
Tues: Meeting with Captain Dickson about the Affirmation Ceremony
Wed: Back to School for NCC Air Meeting
Thurs: Decoration Committee Meeting
Fri: Recce@Singapore Expo
Yes!!! At least i won't be that bored before i receive my O' Level results!!!
Thank Heavens...
Guess all i can do at home is enjoy myself for the time being...
